Hilton King Lawyers are able to apply to the Legal Aid Commission for a grant of legal aid to represent you in the following areas of law:-

Family law and de facto relationships
Child support
Criminal Law
Children, criminal law issues
Domestic violence
Disputes with government departments (such as social security)
Protected estate matters
Mental health and guardianship matters

We are able to apply on line directly to the Legal Aid Commission for a grant of legal aid to enable us to represent you.

Grants of legal aid are subject to a means test. Before we can apply for a grant of legal aid you will need to provide us with proof of your means. Specifically the Commission requires that you provide:-

proof of your income (a letter from DSS or your employer)
your Bank Statements for the previous 3 months
